  6. DiskKicker is a simple commodity to avoid annoying spin up
  7. pauses etc. on hard drives where the power management features
  8. can't be dissabled.  It accepts 2 tooltypes/command line args :-

  10. PATHNAME=
  11. Specifies path where kick files are created/removed
  12.  
  13. INTERVAL=
  14. Interval between kicks
  15. 1=2secs 2=4secs 3=8secs 4=16secs (4secs is default)

  17. I've included the E source code as well, it's just a modified 
  18. RKM example of a commodity.
